It is a simple process - but pop a note in at 9 Lincoln Way giving me your email address. Or just email Dixon Jones saying who you are and where in the village you live and I will "hook you up".

Does anyone have or know of someone who isn't using their garage in the lincoln way/brian road area?

I recently bought a nice little morris minor and insurance companies don't like seventeen year olds so the insurance is impossibly high (£2000 at the LOWEST) so I am looking to rent a gargae in the hope of lowering my insurance permiums.

Thanks, Tom.

Hi Tom,

I rent mine through Aragon Housing: http://www.aragon-housing.co.uk/TenancyHandbook/TenancyHandbookSection13.html

In the meantime... I have a car cover that I don't use if you want to borrow it. It keeps the rain off, but I stopped using it on the carrot because when it was windy it started chipping paint. But since you don't have a plastic car, you are welcome.

D.

Dear tomw,
Your insurance seems ridiculously high. Are you contacting the companies that specialise in classics with very low mileage etc etc, that advertise in Practical Classics?

It's because I'm seventeen.

That was hte cheapest quote, most classic companies won't quote unless you are over 21 and have 2-3 years no claims (which I obviously don't have at this point) the only one I can get a quote form is Adrian Flux. They quoted £3000 (They also quoted £3500 for a Morris Oxford...a car that will abrely go 60 MPH)

It's the whole 'tarred with the same brush' speech all over again.
