Hi All

I have had a very speedy response from Bedfordshire Police and wanted to update you on what they would like from us.

I have spoken to SGT Andy RIVERS and he has requested that we call 999 if we see this gang. Please do not waste time calling a police station or any local officers that you may have contact details for; call 999 and stress to the control room operator that SGT RIVERS has requested 999 calls and that the gang is wanted for at least 8 robberies by CID.

I know most of us are aware of the two robberies in Harlington on Saturday but that was not the end of it, apparently there was 8 robberies in Harlington and Flitwick just over the weekend.

If you do see them, after you have called 999 please make a note of the details of the sighting, time, exact location, clothing, number in group etc, as this will help Beds Police build up an intelligence picture of where they are going at what times.

Beds Police have taken a lot of fast time actions, they have seized all CCTV from the train stations in Harlington, Leagrave and Flitwick and have officers ploughing through them as I write this to see if any indentifications can be made. They are taking it very seriously and please rest assured that they do want our phone calls, you're not wasting anyones time by calling, in fact you will be helping to bring these criminals to justice.
